Anyhoo, this got me thinking about how long it's been since I threw up a crafty post. Too fucking long. So here are a few pairs of gloves that I made...last winter? I had/have a thing for fingerless gloves. Maybe because I have yet to make fingered gloves. Or mittens. This will, perhaps, be my goal this winter!

On: old knitting whith new knitting in her mind.
My urge to knit waxes and wanes; lately it has been rather in the waxing but with packing-changing-and making all the preparations for a new life I haven't much had the chance. Until this afternoon I thought that I was moving tomorrow but now Sunday is the day. Dad and I will take the boxes to my new place then I will spend the better part of next week at the ol country estate...but this means that my work in progress is in a box somewhere. Maybe I labelled it?

On: Kairos. My head was almost chill for a minute there...
Another patchwork project. This one contains some tapestry wool, some patons décor (with one thread pulled out), some patons decor (with no threads pulled out), kroy, unidentified nice smelling wool and cotton found at the second hand store, some machine knitting yarn and some tangle-ee acrylic that I found at the dollar store. The colours were chosen based on what best clashed with my current hair colour. I picked up the snazzy knit coat (which is barely visible in the bottom left hand corner of the second photo) at the second hand store for a dollar just after finishing the hat, I am just now realizing that they match. As a consolation prize this means that my coat also is designed to best clash with my hair colour.

On: When Tinas learn knitting, and the resulting faces.
I have it on good authority that when she woke up today, she sat down and picked up the needles. Soon I shall amass my knitting army, and we will wage war on coldness. Aliteration is my friend.
